Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actor from Romania and Germany. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole daughter from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she turned 16. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. Some of these include the British biographical film Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
